Hello Parent/Guardian,

This email is to inform you about the preseason football camp that will begin on Thursday, August 1, 2024 for any 7^th or 8^th grade Wissahickon Middle school student who is interested in playing football this season.   Students are to be dropped off at the field between the middle school and high school (in front of the HS main office/front entrance).  The staff will be out there for you to see us.  

**In Addition, please complete and return the attached ‘Camp Waiver’ form for players to participate.  ALL players MUST turn the form in before they can participate in the camp.  Parents may return it to school, scan and email the completed form this summer, or bring it the first night if they would like. 

Some details on the camp include:  Start time is at 6:00pm sharp and will conclude around 8:00pm.  Students are to bring their own water, cleats and sneakers if possible.  The sessions include speed, agility, conditioning, resistance training, and the basic fundamentals of football.  This will be a great opportunity for players to get in shape, build physical and mental toughness, discipline, and most of all chemistry with teammates and coaches.  Our goal is to hold three sessions a week.  The usual days will be Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.  We will send out a schedule the Sunday prior to each week to keep the communication lines open.  These are NOT mandatory workouts, but definitely recommended.  Players will not be penalized if they are unable to attend the workouts. Any workout they can make is a step in the right direction.
